We plan migrations to avoid unnecessary downtime, typically by setting everything up on the new hosting first and only switching DNS once we've confirmed the site works correctly there, so visitors shouldn't notice the change happening at all.
Do you also manage our domain and email records?
Yes. We manage domains, DNS and the email authentication records that help prevent your domain being used to send spoofed emails, alongside the hosting itself, so everything is looked after in one place.
What happens if the site goes down?
Hosting is monitored so issues are flagged for investigation as soon as they're detected. We can't promise a site will never have a problem, but we won't be finding out about it from a customer.
Can you host a site that wasn't built by NXAPP?
