Is IT consultancy only worthwhile for large businesses?
No. Small and mid-sized businesses often benefit most, because a poor technology decision has a bigger relative impact on a smaller budget. We scale our advice to the size and stage of your business, not the other way round.
Do you sell the hardware or software you recommend?
Our consultancy advice is independent. Where you then want us to implement a recommendation, TechButler or NX Cloud can do the work, but you're never pushed towards a particular vendor to earn a commission.
We already have an IT person or small team. Can you still help?
Yes. Many clients use IT consultancy alongside an internal lead or small team, bringing in outside perspective for specific decisions, board papers or projects where a second, experienced opinion is genuinely useful rather than a threat to anyone's role.
How long does a typical consultancy engagement take?
It depends on the question. Some engagements are a single workshop and report; others run alongside a project for several months. We agree scope and timescale with you before starting.
Can consultancy lead into ongoing IT support?
It can, but doesn't have to. Some clients take our recommendations away and implement them with their own team or another provider entirely. Others choose to move into TechButler's managed support once the strategy and roadmap have been agreed, so delivery follows naturally from the advice.
